Drying Phase in Home: Should I shut off the air movers?

3/30/2021 (Permalink)

If you currently are going through a water remediation process and you are not sure if you should turn off the drying equipment. First step is to always consult our Field Tech’s before hand. Our state-of-the-art Air Mover machines are there to assist in the drying affected areas in your home. Some customers may get bothered by some noise coming from the Air Movers, but we urge you not to turn off the equipment. Turning off the equipment can prolong or completely stall drying time. Each tech that places Air Movers follows the IICRC guidelines to best remediate your home quick and efficient. As soon as your home is dry, we remove the equipment immediately.
